This year’s AGM was held at Sun Wah Chinese Restaurant, November 3, 2019.
31 members, 10 guests attended. Executive goals and schedule of events were reviewed; a Federation name change, diminishing membership and event participation were discussed; and members were reminded to get the word out about our club. A financial update was provided. Changes made to the Constitution, Bylaws, and Governance Policy and a name conflict with another golf group were discussed. Majority voted to adopt the Constitution, Bylaws, and Governance Policy. Awards and acknowledgements handed out. Draw prizes (one per attendee) were given out following dinner.
The new executive was voted in; five of the 2019 executive volunteered to stay on for 2020 and two new executive members Lynda Young and Dave Weicker volunteered. The continuing executive members are: Barb Hunter, Leanne Ross, Berte Marr, Larry Dorosh, and Mike Josefowich. Thank yous went out to each for volunteering.
